Pilates for Triathletes
What?
10 minutes of ice recovery using ice bags, to relax your muscles following those Saturday morning bike sessions!
PLUS
50 minutes of Pilates exercises considered most beneficial to triathletes owing to muscle recruitment across these 3 sports, and frequent weakness of the triathlete. I will give you some personalised exercises according to your own body mechanics and injury history (if any!). This will be assessed at your first class and worked on progressively at each class during 20 minutes when everyone is perfecting their own exercises.
The idea is to give you the best of both worlds (a group class and one-to-one attention). This class incorporates an advanced tool called Red Cord which is hard for the athlete not to love. If you like it you can work with me in a more personalised way during a one-to-one session using it (I only have one as they are super expensive!).
The CPB extra
After your first class when I have been able to take a look at you, you will be WhatsApped your own personal exercises which you are encouraged to practise at home as many days, and as many times a day as possible. I will send you reminders and encourage you to send me photos/videos of you in action!
When, where and how much?
Saturdays 12:30-13:30 @ Nou Mar Osteopath Centre, Poble Nou (sometimes I need to change the class to a Sunday so please check the class Timetable each week)
15 euros per session (12 euros per session for ProRunners members).
Please book your drop-in spot online to ensure a space. You can pay at the same time or in person in cash or by card.
Triathletes keen for a second weekly session or unable to make Saturdays would benefit greatly from the Pilates for Runners sessions.
